Waterproofing

Waterproofing is a crucial part of both bathroom and laundry renovation. Water leaking into your wall spaces and on to your floor can cause a lot of damage and it is therefore essential that this is prevented. Every waterproofing project is different and therefore we want our clients to receive the best suited solution. We use our experience and knowledge to implement the best water prevention methods.

It is essential that a registered builder is employed for this part of the process and a waterproofing warranty is provided to ensure that the job has been done right. Bathroom waterproofing is absolutely vital, and must comply with Building Code Australia (BCA) and Australian Standard AS3740, and is also mandated by law.

If a leak develops it can cause many serious issues, which is why it is important to ensure the waterproofing is done correctly first time, saving you both time and money.  You should ensure that any subsequent work does not damage the waterproofing, hence it being strongly advised that you do use a registered builder.
